Becoming Buddhist?

I've been reading into Buddhism and I still have questions. If my partner is Lutheran do we get married in a Church? Do I have to raise my kids Buddhist or can I just let them pick their own faith? What about Christmas...Can they still celebrate Christmas or what? Is it Wrong for me to let my Children celebrate the Holiday?
