How long does it take to fully digest a bc pill?

my sister takes hers at 1015 at night, well she took it on saturday and than started drinkin lemonade with liquor in it. the next day she felt real bad, she threw up at around 7 in the morning. is she ok? she cant get pregnant right? she takes her pills regularly. anyone else go through this?
