I have two version of windows on my computer?

I had windows millenium edition on my computer then i inserted windows 2000 cd now i have both and i want all the programs from millenium edition to go to 2000 and then i want to delete window millenium then optimize my computer somehow because it has been sitting in the corner of my room as bunch of metal
