So confused!?

okay i like this lad who i work with we have been out few times as friends however i was just waiting until it turned into something more. it did the other week we had great fun, kissed a lot was very happy :) however the same nyt he told me he couldnt ever be in a relationship? :S i think it was because of an ex gf but that really threw me i like him alot. a few days later he invited me out where i met his bro and gf was good since then we have texted things great. however i noticed he had a hickey ion his neck i feel like such a fool tho becasuse even tho it had nerly gone and must of happened befre the first nyt i still feel like i may be wastin my time? should i just go along with it see where it goes or cut my losses and realise its prob neva gona be what i want. please help thank xx
