Question about domestic disturbance?

Many cities have programs for people in your situation. We have a program in my city called Hope Haven. It is for people that are trying to get a start and get a place of their own. They have rules to follow, but the rent is cheap, $1 per month. Call your local police dept non-emergency number and ask to talk to someone in family violence. Tell them the situation, (they may ask if you want to file charges) tell them you are wanting to find out if your city has such a program. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
