Should i just tell him that i like him?

Reading doesn't necessarily help one. Afterall, most of them are formed from our own picture of the person's feelings. If you really like him, you have two options - (1) you tell him you like him and wait for a response whether he likes you or not and (2) just show him exclusively that you like him and let him guess why you specially treat him like that.. In the end, it is just the same - either you receive a "yes" or "no" so it is better to arrive at that point as early as now before it deepens.
